The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Science has been awarded funding to join the consortium of the International Master in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies (IMSISS), one of the most prestigious master’s programs worldwide in the field of international security and strategic studies!
The IMSISS consortium brings together leading institutions, including the University of Glasgow, Dublin City University, the University of Trento, Charles University in Prague, and now the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Science.
By becoming a partner in this program, the Faculty strengthens its position as a hub for cutting-edge education and research in international security, while also taking a significant step forward in the internationalisation of the University of Belgrade.
This opportunity will be particularly beneficial to students in the Faculty’s MA in Peace, Security, and Development, who will have the chance to engage directly with colleagues from around the globe, exchange perspectives, and build professional networks that extend far beyond the region.
The launch of the new program at the Faculty is expected to begin with the 2026/2027 academic year.
The total project budget amounts to €4.63 million, financed through the Erasmus Mundus program of the European Union. The project will be coordinated at the Faculty of Political Science by Professor Filip Ejdus and Professor Nemanja Džuverović.
We look forward to welcoming the first generation of students and to building lasting partnerships that will shape the future of international security studies in the region and globally!
