GEO-POWER-EU is hosting an online event on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, from 15:00 CET, to present the Serbia-specific results of the 2025 Public Opinion Survey.

GEO-POWER-EU’s main objective is to contribute to the empowerment of the EU to manage security threats within the deteriorating geopolitical environment that lies in its Eastern Neighbourhood and in the Western Balkans. The project’s main goal is to articulate a proposal for a comprehensive EU strategy towards these regions that will employ new and reformed means and policy instruments, taking into consideration foresight concerning the strategic ambitions of other geopolitical actors. The consortium comprises a diverse group of esteemed organisations from across Europe, including the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Science, each bringing unique expertise and perspectives to address the geopolitical challenges in the Eastern Neighbourhood and the Western Balkans.

Conducted in June 2025 across nine countries in the Western Balkans and the Associated Trio, the survey examined citizens’ views on international actors, security, migration, and EU integration. This session will spotlight Serbia’s findings in the wider regional context, offering key insights into how the public perceives both domestic and international challenges. The full survey report is available on the GEO-POWER-EU website.
